You may have seen the sneaky peek I put on line a couple of weeks ago, here’s the full blog (although there are MANY more pictures…). This was my first wedding of 2013, and what a way to start. We had a good 6″ of snow everywhere which made everything look fantastic – it also made it pretty difficult to get around, but luckily, this was also one of my closest weddings of the year.
I arrived at Jen’s at the crack of dawn, to find a brides mum and eager bridesmaids clearing the drive in full snow gear!! That was followed up by several coffees and the most brilliant Eggy Bread, or, French Toast if you’re posh.
The wedding was at the Kings Croft Hotel in Pontefract, a perfect venue for the weather, with a long garden of unspoiled snow out front – perfect for some B&G shots out there, good job Jen brought her wellies and didn’t mind the cold for 20 mins!
What a fantastic wedding! The weather didn’t keep anyone away, and for the entire day, everyone was brilliant and had such a great time. I’ve never seen a dance floor stay packed for so long – the band certainly knew how to fill a floor with a Queen medley.
I hope you enjoy the pictures:
