There are so many things that I like about summer, but perhaps the thing that I like best is the light on an evening. From May onwards, I really like to schedule Pre-Wedding shoots for the evening to make the most of the warm, golden evening sunshine.
At the time of writing, Dani & Olli are on Honeymoon after a fantastic wedding last weekend. I don’t think they’ll be short of some sunshine in Hawaii – I’ve heard that they get some nice weather over there… So, last weekend was their wedding at the amazing Saltmarshe Hall over near Goole in the East Riding of Yorkshire, but before that, we shot their Pre Wedding shoot on a gorgeous sunny evening in Goldenacre Park in Leeds.
The weather seemed to be a recurring theme with this shoot. We cancelled twice because of it. On both occasions we rescheduled because it just wouldn’t stop pouring down when we had planned to meet. On the last occasion, barely a week before the wedding day, the weather was what made the shoot. That, and the fantastic surroundings of Goldenacre park which is rapidly becoming one of my favourite locations in the Leeds area for shoots.
