Over the last month I’ve been working on some of my personal projects. In particular, my project of photographing artists in their workspaces. I’ve got several portrait shoots lined up and I have some rolls of film waiting to be processed too. You may have seen some of the shots that I recently published on my ‘Personal Work’ site of Dex Hannon in his studio, if not, you can see them here. Recently, I had the opportunity to go to Leeds Arts Centre to watch and Photograph the rehearsals of the Conor McPherson play The Weir.
I did take the opportunity to shoot some film portraits of the actors and director on stage and back stage at the dress rehearsals the night before opening night though. A lot of what I shot was for the production and due to the required quick turnaround time, I needed to shoot it digitally.
